Abstract

Waste comes from processing and production processes, both in households and large-scale industries. Most waste ends up as trash, requiring proper management methods. Industrial waste, especially that containing hazardous chemicals, is particularly challenging to handle. With technological advancements, there are many ways to transform waste into useful products or even items with high market value. Waste management aims to reduce environmental pollution while boosting the local economy through waste-derived products with selling value, implemented through the concept of circular economy. To carry out this program, appropriate technology is needed, such as a press machine for cutting leather seat waste, replacing manual methods with a mechanical process. However, before building such a machine, a manufacturing process through manufacturing engineering is required to ensure efficient production. With the help of CAD/CAM software, manufacturing steps can be planned ahead of time to avoid errors. CAD/CAM is also utilized to generate accurate production reports and to perform evaluations during the production process.
