KUALITAS AUDIT SEBUAH SYSTEMATIC LITERATURE REVIEW

Abstract

Penelitian dengan topik kualitas audit masih aktif diteliti dengan tingkat pertumbuhan pertahunnya mencapai 13,25% dalam kurun waktu 2013-2022 seiring dengan keterlibatan profesi akuntan publik dalam berbagai skandal pelaporan keuangan. Risiko kesalahan penyajian material pada laporan keuangan yang diterbitkan oleh suatu entitas yang dapat diminimalisir oleh audit yang berkualitas. Penelitian studi literatur ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui grand theory dalam penelitian dengan topik kualitas audit, indikator-indikator yang digunakan dalam pengukuran kualitas audit, faktor- faktor yang mempengaruhi kualitas audit  dan faktor-faktor yang dipengaruhi atau konsekuensi dari kualitas audit. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian studi literatur ini adalah Systematic Literature Review dengan menggunakan pedoman Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis (PRISMA) dengan menggunakan sumber data yang berasal dari publikasi ilmiah yang terindex pada database Scopus. Berdasarkan proses ekstraksi literatur yang sesuai dengan kriteria pemilihan, maka jurnal artikel yang terpilih sebanyak 46 jurnal artikel untuk kemudian dilakukan analisis untuk menjawab pertanyaan penelitian. Hasil penelitian studi literatur menunjukkan bahwa grand theory yang digunakan dalam penelitian dengan topik kualitas audit didominasi dengan menggunakan agency theory. Indikator yang digunakan untuk mengukur kualitas audit  didominasi dengan menggunakan discretionary accruals, dan big N & non big N. Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kualitas audit terbagi menjadi 4 elemen yaitu, masukan audit (audit input), proses audit (audit process), keluaran audit (audit output), dan faktor-faktor kontekstual (contextual factors) masing-masing didominasi oleh Ethics, Audit Process, PCAOB Inspection, Non-Audit Services (NAS). Konsekuensi yang dipengaruhi kualitas audit didominasi oleh earning management, accrual reliability, accounting restatement dan corporate social responsibility.
